Well well well... This is my first halloween at home in years. Usually I'm out working at some bar watching all of the slutty girls dress like cats and all of the guys try to be tuff heros. This year I carved pumkins! This is my Cannible Pumpkin!

I'm frustrated because I'm waiting for new stuff to show up... See I'm reworking my studio and need a power conditioner. I have a small one coming in the mail but until then I have a nasty buzz happening. I got a new USB audio in off of eBay and it seems to work well. I want a new mic. Dylan said he'd sell me his, but he is busy with his life stuff and it's packed away. I will wait though. I luv that mic. I'm a fiend with the audio stuff lately. I have a big sign in my studio (acquired) that says "RELAY FOR LIFE". I'm sure they meant a race, but we all know it means something else.

Mono signals suck

Well, I realized last night that the mic input on my laptop doesn't double as as a stereo line in....it's only mono. I need to find a way to get a stereo signal into my computer to make it work as a two track at a time recorder. Anyway, music making is still good. Lifes fuller than I have time for. I'm gonna go convert microfilm to digital images now.

SO, according to Ilona we are on the upswing. She has been working like a mad woman to bring in the financials. I recently started helping with some of the home design jobs... Looks like BigWhistleStudios is breathing. We both miss our peoples back in mpls. I wish you all could experience this city from the inside. And I wish we could have small parties every week again, just get together and watch movies and hang out. As a matter of fact the only thing missing from me having a great life right now is my friends being half way across the country.

So I think thats it's funny that I got asked to post this link for a portable gps handheld and it's a link to a company called TomTom. I happen to know a guy who is a total gear geek when it comes to this type of stuff, and his name happens to be Tom. I bet their stock will increase when he finds out about them.
On another note....I'm 'bouts to go to the pumpkin patch! I'll say hi to jack and charlie brown for yalls.

That is a jam session with a djembe, a harmonium from 1909, and a bowed eastern block dulcimer(hand built). I recorded it all thru one mic. One glimpse of a breathing lab.
I do so luv to have sessions. We have a regular weekend thing happening and many tracks in progress. (most of them don't sound like this one.)
I went and saw the new willy wonka last night. I liked it. But....damn those fuckin squrrrls. Reminded me of loring park.
